Easy Barbeque Meatballs
Ingredients

1 tablespoon canola oil

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup green pepper
-
1 (24 ounce) bag Jennie'O Home Style Frozen Turkey Meatballs, thawed
-
1 (18 ounce) bottle Stubb's Hickory Bourbon Barbeque Sauce
-
1/4 cup ketchup
-
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple in it's own juices, undrained
-
1/4 cup water
Directions
In a 5-quart Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
Add onion and bell pepper; cook until softened and onion becomes translucent (about 5 minutes).
Add meatballs; cook until meatballs release any liquid (2-3 minutes).
Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in barbecue sauce, ketchup, pineapple with juices and water.
Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens (10-15 minutes longer).
Amount: 24 meatballs
Serving Suggestion: Serve with Italian salad greens with a balsamic vinaigrette and
Ciabatta bread.
