Korean Beef Ribs with Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients - Korean Beef Ribs

2 cups soy sauce
2 Tbl garlic, minced
1 Tbl fresh ginger, grated
1 cup green onion, sliced
1 cup white sugar
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp coarse black pepper
4 Tbl sesame seeds
1 tsp crushed red pepper
2 Tbl vegetable oil
6 Tbl sesame oil
10 lbs of Korean style short ribs (beef short ribs cut across the bone 1/2 inch thick)

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients together.
Marinate ribs overnight if possible.
Grill a couple of minutes on each side. They don't take long!

Servings

This is enough marinade for up to 10 lbs of ribs. Allow about 1 lb per person.

Ingredients - Asparagus

Aparagus
Olive oil
Kosher salt
Fresh ground pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Wash asparagus and snap off ends.
Pat dry and put on cookie sheet in a single layer.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Roast in oven until crisp tender. 4 to 6 minutes for skinny stalks, 10 to 12 minutes for thicker stalks.
